 Our Facilities and Technologies

Our Facilities and Technologies

We are a day surgery, specialising in quick procedures with fast recovery times.

Our centre prides itself on providing the best level of ophthalmic care to the Hornsby community. We are equipped with the best ophthalmic machines and technology to provide the safest procedures possible.

Our nursing and support staff are second-to-none, attracted by the specialisation of what we do and the long history of our parent companies in providing eye surgeries.

Our History

Operating as the “Perfect Vision” Clinic, we provided ophthalmic surgery to the people of Hornsby. In July 2017, we joined Presmed Australia’s day hospitals, and since then have improved our standards under the Presmed umbrella.

The site is located in Hornsby, a significant business district hub with a growing array of retail, business, and entertainment facilities. Hornsby is located on the northern train line, with excellent access to both public transport as well as convenient parking.

Madison Day Surgery is part of the PresMed Australia group of day hospitals.

 Our History
 Patient Satisfaction is Central

Patient Satisfaction is Central

We are guided by two key measurements: clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

We pride ourselves on continuing to ensure we improve our standards, knowing that excellence is a journey, not a destination.

We appreciate that undergoing surgery can be stressful, tiring or scary for patients. Our experienced team seeks to ensure all patients are treated with the utmost respect and care. Feedback from patients directly informs any changes we implement to our processes and procedures.

We also have volunteer patient and family advisors who give detailed feedback on their experiences at our hospital to help us plan improvements.

Ongoing Professional Development and Education

We are committed to the ongoing education of our patients, staff and related health professionals and endeavour to provide up-to-date, useful and relevant information and education.

We run specialist health education programs in the community and also support local and international healthcare charities to bring critical surgery to those in need.
